Bin Li obtained his Ph. D. from Peking University, and trained as a postdoctoral scientist at UPenn. He is an expert in immune regulation especially in the field of Treg biology.  Bin Li has published more than 50 papers in journals including Immunity, PNAS, Nature Immunology, and is a regular speaker at international conferences. In 2016, he was invited by the ICI International Conference on Immunology to be the chairperson of the Treg section. Bin Li also serves as the Chairman of the Science Popularization Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Cell Biology, the editorial board of Scientific Reports, and the editorial board of Science Bulletin. Bin Li has undertaken a number of projects including the 973 project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
